Despite the unfamiliarity, Carrie found herself drawn to the creativity, compassion, and heart that talent attraction demanded. “After that first foray into employer branding, I never looked back,” she says. Over the years, Carrie has worked with companies of all sizes, both in-house and as a consultant, embracing challenges and successes with equal determination. You’ll be told no more than yes, so resilience is key.”
Carrie believes that advocacy and inclusivity start with authenticity. “If you’re passionate and authentic, it will come naturally,” she explains. She advises women to begin with small steps toward change and build upon those successes. One piece of advice that has shaped her approach came from her former boss: always ask if someone is open to coaching before offering advice. “It’s more effective when it’s their decision rather than something being pushed onto them,” she notes.
